 Footlight, a family owned company, was founded in 1984. Footlight proudly presents a wide selection of all kinds of classes both for beginners and for advanced dancers. We were authorized to provide basic education in the Arts already in 1994.
 We have always had the aim to be able to offer our students the best facilities, well educated professional teachers and a relaxed and happy atmosphere. To help talented young dancers on their way towards a professional career in dancing we have established a Special Training Programme.
And last but not least:
DANCING MUST BE FUN!
 Footlight has always believed in improving and developing it’s concept. In 1984 we started with one basement-studio. Almost a decade later in 1993 we purchased another studio, and in 1998, we got two additional studios in downtown Helsinki.
In the autumn 2002 we opened a real Dance Center complex in downtown Helsinki (Mannerheimintie 6 B) with four excellent dance studios, on three floors. The Dance Center resembles the famous Broadway Dance Center in New York and in conclusion, the Mannerheimintie street was transformed into the Finnish equivalent of Broadway and it’s stars will be shining as brightly.
In September 2007 we had the pleasure to welcome new and old dance students to our brand new Dance Center, situated in Leppävaara Espoo. Everything from the facilities and class schedules are planned so that the dancers in Espoo can experience dance training on a totally new level. Three spacious dance studios with suspended floors, student reception/office area and Footlight dancewear shop are waiting to welcome you.
 The selection of our dance classes has been getting bigger and broader. From over two hundred weekly classes every dancer can find a suitable class to attend to. Our professional teachers will guarantee that a good workout and fun can both be combined on the classes!
